Delegates who register as PhD Candidate are asked to upload a relevant proof of their student status in English during the online registration. The document needs to be uploaded as jpg or pdf.
Included in the registration fees for LBS2018:
- Entrance to the 14th Conference on Location Based Services
- Entrance to the poster and showcase exhibition
- Coffee breaks during conference according to detailed program
- Icebreaker Apéro on Monday, 15 January 2018
- Conference Dinner on Tuesday, 16 January 2018
Upon receipt of the correct registration fee, each participant will receive a confirmation of registration. Please bring this confirmation to the registration desk at the Congress Center as proof of your registration.
The organizers will be pleased to send a letter of invitation to any individual requesting one, once their registration and fee has been received to facilitate the request for visa and you may request such letter from the Conference Secretariat at email@example.com . It is understood that such an invitation is intended to assist potential participants in raising travel funds.There is no commitment on the part of the Conference to provide any financial support. Student participants may apply for travel grants offered by the conference sponsors.
Registration fees are payable in CHF in advance to the Conference Secretariat by credit card only (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) with a surcharge of 3% commission fee during the registration process.
Registration will be valid only upon receipt of the full payment by the Conference Secretariat according to the deadline indicated above.
Cancellation / name change
Refund of fees, less 25% administrative charges, can be applied for in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org until 08 December 2017 to the congress secretariat. After this date, no refund will be possible. Please note that full payment is also required if a registered delegate will not participate at the congress. Substitutions of attendees can be made at any time. For any change of names, a fee of CHF 50.- will be charged. On-site changes of name badges due to incorrect submission of names and/or address data will be charged CHF 10.-.
